Alastair is a new member of our team only recently joining after running his own practice for over 8 years. He has taken up Co Directorship with Helen. He believes in building stable, long-lasting relationships with clients to enable better decision making. Helping clients solve both the little and earth-shattering issues keeps him coming to work. He has been happily married to Helen for over 25 years and is quite willing to spend time with his two sons.
Helen joined Hetherington Johnston in 2006. In 2019 she joined her husband Alastair as a director when Leigh stood down. She enjoys working with clients to achieve their goals and the wide variety of businesses she works with, keeps Helen on her toes. She thrives on providing an individual service for each one and is a self-confessed problem solver who loves finding the perfect solution!
Tania is a long standing member of the Hetherington Johnston team and credits the diverse nature of her role to be the reason she looks forward to coming to work each day. She has built strong relationships with her clients and enjoys providing a great service that keeps them happy year after year. In her free time she loves to relax with her family.
Donna is our wonder woman Office Manager who keeps everything ticking along smoothly. She enjoys the variety in her role and working with a great team. Donna coordinates all of our events and seminars, takes care of the admin and generally makes sure the roof doesn’t fall down around our heads! She’s kept busy running around after two kids and two dogs in her spare time.
Leigh has relinquished the helm of Hetherington Johnston he had since its formation. He now works with specific clients on specialised matters. Since the beginning Leigh has enjoyed the close interaction with his clients, including getting out of the office and meeting them on-site. In his free time he loves to be out in the water, be it swimming, fishing or kayaking, and believe it or not, if Leigh wasn’t an accountant he’d probably be a builder!
